1 · Get the manifest

Download manifest.xml

One manifest covers both Word and Excel.

2 · Sideload into Office

  1. Office on the web: Insert → Add-ins → Upload My Add-in → choose the manifest.
  2. Desktop (Windows): put the manifest in a shared folder registered under File → Options → Trust Center → Trusted Add-in Catalogs, restart Office, then Insert → My Add-ins → Shared Folder.
  3. Click the Talaria button on the Home tab.

3 · First run

  1. Paste the Hermes API_SERVER_KEY into ⚙ Settings.
  2. Leave base URL blank (same-origin).
  3. Model: chat (fast) or advanced (strongest).
